Weeks one and two will be focused on throwing, catching, ground balls, cradling and getting comfortable using these skills on the move. After a couple of weeks, the girls will be able to play scrimmages and learn general concepts of the game, things like field layout, positions, simple rules & playing with teammates.

Parent Volunteers Are Needed!!  No prior lacrosse experience is necessary, you can learn the fundamentals along with your daughter.
MYL depends on parent coaches throughout the girls’ youth program, up through 8th grade. During registration, please consider checking the volunteer box to help coach – we promise, you’ll both love it!!
