About The Select League

Girls Grades 5 - 8 SELECT Lacrosse

The Select League is for players with advanced skills to play in highly competitive games, played on Friday nights vs. local Select teams across the region.
Select is an add-on league to Travel with a full 7 game, plus playoffs schedule
Additional cost - TBD but expected to be ~$250. (Financial assistance is available)
Top players across each grade groupings are chosen during tryouts
Playing time is not equal, nor guaranteed. Emphasis will be on good sportsmanship with the goal of winning games to make the Championships

Commitment:

In addition to Travel Team commitments, Select Practice 1x/week starting March 19.
Players need to be able to attend all Select weekly practices and games. Any exceptions should be discussed with the coaches.
Friday night games 1x/week starting early April, ending Mid-May for regular season, or early June if a team makes the playoffs.
Game dates listed below

Eligibility - To play in the SELECT league a player must:

Girls grades 5-8; Boys grades 7-8
Be registered, practicing and playing with their travel team each week
Reside in the town they are registered to play for
Players must tryout in order to be considered for a spot on a Select team
If unable to attend any of the Select tryout sessions an individual evaluation can be requested (see below for contacts)

Week 1 - March 28-29

Week 2 - April 4-5

Week 3 - April 11-12

Week 4 - April 18-19

NO Games April 25-26 (End of School Vacation Week)

Week 5 - May 2-3

Week 6 - May 9-19

Week 7 - May 16-17

Playoff Brackets Announced: May 18

First Round of Playoffs - completed by TBD
