Select is for more advanced players looking for a higher level of competition than the regular travel program.  Players need to tryout to make the Select Team. The Select leagues maintain power rankings/standings and runs a state playoff tournament after the regular season. 

There are 7 regular season games on Friday nights (sometimes Saturdays but not often) and there will also be a team practice 1x per week. The season kicks off on 3/28.
The Select experience will be more like a high school team experience where higher level concepts will be taught and the teams will be playing to win & advance in the tournament.  Playing time may not be equal and players may play specialized positions.

The additional cost for Milton Select is expected to be $250 per player.  As always, if financial assistance is needed you will be able to request that.

BOYS SELECT TRYOUT DATES @ UNION POINT

• 3/5 (Wed) @ 6-7:30pm (1st Tryout)
• 3/12 (Wed) @ 6-7:30pm (2nd Tryout)
• 3/19 (Wed) @ 6-7:30pm (Practice/Supplemental Tryouts)

We are well aware that some kids will not be able to make any of the Tryout dates due to Spring Break.  You will be able to mark that during the Tryout Registration process.  We will ensure those players are still evaluated & have a chance to make a team.
Please note that the tryouts are not the only times the players are being evaluated. Every time the kids are on the field they are being evaluated.   You are not required to show up to both tryouts but the more we see of them the better evaluation we can make.
